Hysterical Literature é uma série de vídeos que mostra mulheres atingindo orgasmos ao lerem trechos de seus livros preferidos. O projeto é arquitetado pelo fotógrafo Clayton Cubitt. Lançado em 2012, os vídeos já foram vistos 30 milhões de vezes em 200 países – segundo o próprio site.

Esse projeto me inspirou muito pelo fato de trabalhar com o contraste entre a cultura e a sexualidade. Evidentemente os vídeos são também uma critica a sociedades e religiões que ainda discriminam o orgasmo feminino. Além disso, gosto muito da temática do dualismo entre o corpo e a mente.
